Alli Harris

About Me

I am originally from Ashland City, Tennessee, and I have been studying flute with Dr. Mary Matthews at Tennessee Tech University while working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. In addition to my work at TTU, I have completed my residency at Cookeville High School, and am currently doing the rest of my residency at Knox Doss Middle School at Drakes Creek. I have also taught at multiple high school band camps, including Forrest High School in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, and Jackson Christian School in Jackson, Tennessee. I have been playing music since I was seven years old, and I have been playing the flute since I was eleven. I knew at a very young age that I wanted to teach music to hopefully inspire others to pursue music in any way that they might want to.
